Is BARHI Low-Sugar?

BARHI is Low-sugar and high on flavour.

It’s naturally light and clean. Each 330 ml bottle contains just 1.52 g of natural sugar, coming only from the dates and honey used in fermentation. That’s less than most kombuchas or tonic waters.

The truth about “sugar-free”

Under UK law, any drink containing less than 0.5 g of sugar per 100 ml can be labelled sugar-free. BARHI sits comfortably in that category, at 0.46 g/100 ml, yet we prefer to be transparent and call it no added sugar, so you know exactly what you’re drinking.

No syrups, no shortcuts

Unlike most modern alcoholic drinks, BARHI has no added sugars or artificial sweeteners. The sugar comes solely from its natural ingredients, Barhee dates and honey, which also give it depth and complexity.

Why it tastes so clean

Low sugar means more than fewer calories (just 34 kcal per 100 ml), it means a crisp, refreshing finish that doesn’t stick to your palate. BARHI feels lighter, bubbles brighter, and pairs more elegantly with food.

Perfect for mindful drinkers

Whether you’re counting calories or simply cutting back on sugar, BARHI lets you enjoy a drink without compromise. It’s crafted for balance, sparkling, flavourful, and refreshingly guilt-free.
